For the Daydream Video Project, I made my dog the main character. I think choosing to have her as the subject of the video made it a lot more fun to work on. For one, I didn’t have to cringe myself out by editing a bunch of videos of myself if I was the subject instead. I also got to see how the soundtrack, narration, and animation could set the tone with no intentional acting. The narration was a final touch that I added at the very end. Originally, I was going to keep the video with just the text on the screen. I’m really happy that I decided to go with the audible narration because I feel like it adds a lot of character to the video. Overall, I had a lot of fun with this project and I think it came out how I wanted it to. Of course, the animation wasn’t perfect, but I didn’t dislike it for being a little goofy – I think it made it kind of cute.
